Special Needs in Lake Worth

We want to create an environment where all of our patients feel welcome, regardless of development disability or other special health care needs. Not only do our doctors have extensive hands-on experience, but our staff is trained in helping patients with special health care needs. We want to establish a dental home for our patients with special health care needs ideally at an early age. This way we can provide an opportunity to implement individualized preventive oral health practices, help establish routine dental care, and reduce the child's risk of preventable dental/oral disease.

We typically see patients with special health care needs until their oral health care needs extend beyond the scope of our practice. In cases where transitioning to adult dental care is not possible or desired, we will continue to see these patients with special health care needs and recommend appropriate referrals as needed.
